Whether life? What direction it leads?
Onward, upward, beyond the horizon?
Or downward, deeper, underworld bound?
It maters not, the direction taken

Not up nor down nor places not seen

Life is bigger, bigger than we see
But daily survival keeps it hidden
We spend our time looking at the surface
Not caring about the beauty underlying
Missing the meaning of love
Wasting the time we are given
Blinded by the fog of our reality.

So many. Multitudes who went before
Staggering though the world
Bent upon making a better place
Instead of opening up what’s there
Blinders of ridicule are placed on us
By society of practical correctness
Refusing to acknowledge that which is there.

Seize your destiny! Rise to the challenge
Of where love truly lies
Beyond the mountains, the sea, the plains
Away from these illusions
Find true meaning within your self,
Mind that is known as soul
Realism that transcends perception.
